This fall (2025) I’m teaching Elementary Greek at Houston Christian University (Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9pm)! Here are some links to the materials that we’re using for the course. [3] Watch and take notes on Dr. M’s chapter overview for BKG Ch. 4 & 5. You will be completing the Ch. 4 written HW for Sept 10 class. (There is no Ch. 5 HW. Yay!)
[4] THUR 8pm: Zoom session on Ch. 4 questions that you might have. We might even look at a few HW exercises and work on them together before you complete the HW exercises during the rest of the week!
Due Wed, Aug 26:
[1] Print and bring the syllabus.
[2] Normally, prior to a class session I would have you watch my (Dr. Marshall’s) video lesson overviews of BKG for the chapters we cover that week particular week. Since this is the first day, you don’t have to do it (but if you’d like to get ahead, go ahead and watch of overviews of Chs. 1, 2, and 3). PLEASE PRINT the textbook chapters ahead of time and bring them to class so you can take notes. Links to the lectures and the textbook/workbook material is found under Restricted Access above. I will give you the password through Canvas.)
[3] Try to begin memorizing Ch. 3 Vocabulary. Don’t forget to use the audio files for hearing, reading, repeating, and practicing.
[4] Feel free to try complete BKGW Exercises 2 and 3 on your own. We will try to work on these during class as well.
